Recently, the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association announced the winning information of the 2023 "China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Award". The project of "R&D and Application of Large-scale Unmanned Mining Technology, Equipment and Control System for Underground Metal Mines" developed by the University of Technology won the first prize.
"R&D and application of large-scale unmanned mining technology, equipment and control system for underground metal mines" is the first in China to innovate and develop a complete set of technology for large-scale intelligent mining of underground metal mines; It has developed key technologies such as intelligent charge and wireless remote control initiation, accurate identification and autonomous shoveling of stockpiles, multi-network integration of high-reliability communication and data transmission, and intelligent safety scheduling of underground metal mine cluster equipment, and realized the cluster control of intelligent mining equipment such as rock drilling, charge, shoveling, transportation, and crushing, which has been applied in more than 10 metal mines, significantly improving the safety production level and mining efficiency of underground metal mines, and effectively promoting the scientific and technological progress of the underground metal mining industry.
