Good News | High Tech of China University of Technology Selected for the First Batch of National Mining Safety Production Research Projects by the State Administration of Mining Industry
Recently, the National Bureau of Mine Safety Supervision announced the list of research and development projects for mine safety production (the first batch), and the "Research and Application of Key Technologies for Intelligent Mine Safety Transportation" project led by the High Tech Department of the University of Technology was successfully selected.
The research and application project of key technologies for intelligent mine safety transportation is led by the High Tech Organization of the University of Industry and Technology, and jointly completed by Huainan Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. Zhangji Coal Mine and Shandong New Julong Energy Co., Ltd.
In response to the problems of low mechanization level and insufficient information level in the current domestic mining auxiliary transportation, the High Tech of the University of Technology has constructed a redundant A and B network architecture with 5G+WiFi, adopted high-precision vehicle speed signal perception technology, fused deep learning based video recognition algorithms, combined UWB precise positioning technology with visual positioning technology, and established a formal model detection technology that integrates with multiple intelligent algorithms A distributed and collaborative underground unmanned driving area safety scheduling model is developed to achieve intelligent mine safety transportation and play an important role in improving production efficiency and reducing accident rates for mining enterprises.
The preliminary technical achievements of the project have been awarded the honorary title of the first major technical equipment in the national energy field, and have been demonstrated and applied in Zhangji Coal Mine in Huainan and New Julong Energy in Shandong
This selection highlights the outstanding strength and technological advantages of the University of Technology in the field of smart mining. In the future, USTC High Tech will conduct in-depth research and innovation in underground logistics scheduling, precise personnel positioning, and unmanned underground driving, continuously assisting in the construction of smart mines.
