Cheng Lei, since the establishment of the University of Technology Hi-Tech has been involved as a core backbone. He has been deeply engaged in the technical fields of railway intelligent transportation dispatching and control integration, intelligent operation and maintenance for a long time, and has actively participated in and led a number of major scientific research projects at the national, provincial and ministerial levels, and has achieved remarkable innovative results. He has won 1 second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 first prize of National Safety Production Science and Technology Achievement Award, 1 National Information Industry Major Technological Invention Award, 3 first prizes of Anhui Science and Technology Progress Award, and obtained 22 national invention patents.
