Application Case: Gocom helps Benxi Iron and Steel Group's "Smart Railway" improve quality and efficiency
Since 2020, gocom has fully implemented a full set of solutions for the railway transportation dispatching and command information system in Benxi Steel Plate and Rail Transportation Company under the Benxi Steel Group, and has made remarkable achievements in helping Benxi Steel Group to improve the quality and efficiency of its "smart railway", which has been highly praised and recognized by the user units.
This project used the existing data resources of Benxi Steel and the new generation of information technology such as artificial intelligence and big data, upgrading the railway transportation dispatching command information system in 12 stations of Benxi Steel Plate Railway Transportation Company. It has fully applied our full electronic computer interlocking system, logistics management system, torpedo tank tracking system, locomotive wireless shunting system, dispatching supervision system, centralized dispatching system, train number identification system and video monitoring system. All products in the field of railway intelligent dispatching have promoted the construction of the "smart railway" of Benxi Steel vigorously.
According to the technicians of Benxi Steel, in less than two years, the railway transportation dispatching and command information system of Benxi Steel Plate and Rail Transportation Company has undergone tremendous changes. Through technical transformation, the integration of planned boarding, intelligent switch, dragging plan, and hot metal transportation and dispatching management and control has been realized. The interlocking system adopts the full electronic computer interlocking of double two out of two structure, replacing the original relay plus PLC mode, which greatly improves the system stability. The original system has been in operation for more than ten years with a high failure rate. The new system has been in operation for more than a year without any failure and has reached the maintenance free status.
The application of gocom's railway transportation dispatching and command information system has greatly improved the technical equipment level of Benxi Steel Plate and Rail Transportation Company, effectively improved the enterprise's production and transportation information management capability, saved the enterprise's transportation cost, and realized the optimization of human resources. At the same time, by improving the transportation allocation process, the efficiency of the enterprise's transportation production organization has been effectively improved, which has provided assistance for the reform and high-quality development of Benxi Steel.
In the future, gocom will also work with Benxi Steel Plate to deepen cooperation in areas such as centralized management and control of railway transportation and safety protection of locomotive operation, opening a new chapter of "smart railway" transportation.
