On April 30, 2025, the inaugural meeting and the first general meeting of the Anhui New Quality Productivity Industry Research Association were held in Hefei Academician Building. As the first provincial-level professional organization in Anhui Province focusing on the cultivation of new quality productivity, the establishment of the research association has attracted great attention from all walks of life. The meeting was attended by leaders of the Provincial Association for Science and Technology, leaders of the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, heads of relevant departments directly under the provincial government, members, special guests, news media, etc.

At the awarding ceremony, Yu Hanqing, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and doctoral supervisor of the University of Science and Technology of China, awarded the plaque to Professor Wei Zhen as the chairman of the first board of supervisors. The meeting also held the award ceremony of the TOP100 innovative enterprises in Anhui Province, and the University of Technology, as a leading enterprise in scientific and technological innovation in the province, was successfully selected into the list.
