Recently, the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China announced the "Public Announcement of Typical Applications of Artificial Intelligence Empowering New Industrialization", and the High Tech of China University of Technology was successfully selected with its "Key Technology Equipment and System for Intelligent Transportation in Mines".

The key technology equipment and system for intelligent transportation in mines consists of five categories: intelligent locomotives, trackless rubber tired vehicles, monorail cranes, mining machines, and beam cranes. Multiple intelligent transportation equipment of all types work together through group collaboration, supported by high-speed wireless communication platforms underground, to achieve an intelligent transportation system for mines.
This equipment product precisely meets customer needs and is designed to deeply meet scenario objectives. It deeply integrates artificial intelligence technology, wireless communication technology, and mining transportation equipment manufacturing and system construction, achieving unmanned, automated, and collaborative mining transportation operations. It plays an important role in improving labor productivity, reducing staff and efficiency, lowering accident rates, and saving costs for mining enterprises, and responds to the national safety production requirements of "safety without people and safety with few people". At present, the equipment product has been deployed in key areas such as coal mines and non coal mines, helping many large mining enterprises in China to achieve intelligent mining construction. For example, Anhui Development Mining Co., Ltd. of Minmetals Group created a benchmark case in China and was reported by CCTV.
